Meet Our Staff

All of our tutors either have or are in pursuit of an undergraduate degree. Each has sufficient teaching experience. We have full confidence in all of our tutors to change the academic life of every student with whom they work.

Jason Tucker, Jr.

Hi, my name is Jason Tucker, and I attend Loyola University majoring in English Writing with Teacher Certification. I am the founder of His Glory Tutoring. Over the time that this company has been operating, it has served as my outlet to satisfy my two main passions: teaching and helping to improve the lives of young people. It is a privilege to be able to watch students grow and become better overall learners through tutoring. I am incredibly thankful to be able to do what I love everyday through His Glory Tutoring!

Joleen Dacula

Hey, my name is Joleen! I am an English Literature w/ Teacher’s Certification major at Loyola University New Orleans. Upon graduating Loyola, I aspire to become an English high school teacher and apply for my graduate degree in Fall 2019, also in English. My teaching experience has come from instructing Adult ESL with Catholic Charities for six semesters, through Loyola’s work study program. Here, I became inspired about the intrinsic value of learning and facilitating a sense of community and safety within a classroom. I’ve tutored at my college’s writing center, as well as tutoring grades 6-8 the past three years. Even when I was a child, I still remember “playing” teacher and giving my friends tests/homework, and so it is fitting that I chose this profession for my career. As a former ESL student, and now a near-college graduate, it’s very important to me to instill a sense of drive for all students to pursue their education to the best of their ability. Looking forward to working with you and your child in the near future!
